A few useful pointers To help your start to the game:

• Crash Course to Alleg - Cashto's Crash Course to Alleg. A very imformative piece on getting started with Allegiance.


• New Players Forum - A forum where you can ask any question about the game and have them promptly answered. Seperate forum sign-up required.


• Training Videos - A selection of community created training videos which introduce some concepts in the game.


• Training Missions - The in-game training missions teach you the basics of the game - how to move your craft, select weapons, use the cloak, etc.


• F1 Help Display - The in-game help contains most of the information from the academy, albeit in an abridged form, and many other useful articles. It's a great resource to read during pod rides.


• Common Mistakes - A list of the most common errors new players commit and how to avoid them.


• Mumble - Mumble is a program that players with microphones use to talk with each other. Even if you don't have a mic, listening to veterans discuss strategies and being able to ask them questions is invaluable.
